School Swimming
Whitworth Leisure Centre currently provides swimming lessons to 11 different schools from Rochdale, Whitworth and Bacup. The lessons we provide help these schools to achieve Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2.

Approved Training Centre
Whitworth Swimming Pool is a Royal Life Saving UK Approved Training Centre with certification that the lifeguards are trained in the UK's premier Lifeguard Qualification.
Learner Pool
There are two swimming pools at Whitworth Leisure Centre, a 25 metre long main pool (see top of page) and an 8 metre teaching pool, shown here, ideal for those at the early stages of learning to swim.
